About Our Founder

Meet Jeff Roach. He founded PlanSmart College Advisors after noticing that both students and parents felt very unclear on how to most effectively plan financially for college.  While talking with those parents, Jeff also recognized most families had minimal knowledge on how to market their student athletes to college coaches.  Since starting PSCA, Jeff has been helping Hoosier students and parents from all over the state of Indiana by administering workshops for middle schools, high schools, corporations, civic groups, athletic teams, corporate conferences, neighborhood associations, youth organizations, churches and more.

Mr. Roach works with all families (Athletes & Non Athletes) in the areas  of career evaluations, major selection,  college choices and most importantly, helping the student get accepted to great schools.  Through "customized college planning strategies," Jeff may also be able to help save your family thousands of dollars on college costs with academic/merit based awards, financial aid planning, enhanced athletic scholarships and much more!

In addition to managing PlanSmart College Advisors, Jeff is a Registered Financial Consultant with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (CIR) of Indianapolis where he has been selected as a "Five Star Professional Wealth Manager" seven times in the last eight years.

Jeff graduated from the University of Evansville with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance where he also played collegiate golf for the Aces from 1980-1984.

He has volunteered for IUPUI, The American Heart Association, Oasis, Lions Club, his church, and various sporting events around central Indiana. Jeff is married and they live on the North side of Indianapolis in Hamilton County.
